TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a multiple entry visa for Thailand, it is generally required to show documentation for a round trip air ticket. Typically, applicants must provide proof of a ticket into Thailand, a ticket out of Thailand within 60 days, and another ticket into Thailand to justify the need for the multiple entry visa. However, specific requirements can vary depending on the Embassy or Consulate where the application is made.

Generally you need to show a ticket into Thailand, a ticket out of Thailand within60 days, and another ticket into Thailand to show why you need the multiple entry visa

I have been using the TR60 since 2008. I show the flight in, and after 6 months the outbound flight. That's it. I have done many air and land 60 day exits arranging transport from within Thailand.

I will be coming from America so I can book a trip to Vietnam with a round trip ticket and that would fullfill the requirements? Would there be time requirement for how long I have to leave Thailand? Thanks

Thanks. Have to admit every time I do a google search to figure this out I end up more confused. Keep getting advice to do this visa or that one. But It sounds like the multiple entry visa will give me time to decide, Thanks

Each time you stamp in you’ll get another 60 days even if this is the last day on the six months visa. Each entry can also be extended with 30 days extension at the local immigration, so used the right way it could give you up to nine months in Thailand.

Which Embassy/Consulate will you be applying to as requirements differ?

Good question as we also saw yesterday the requirement varies between embassies (London and Norway). This is from the Thai Embassy in DC. It’s doesn’t specify several tickets.
