Hello, 

we are a family in applying for Guardianship visas for adults & Ed visas for children.

We have received so much confusing information & the visa agent we chose is not working out - although they have come recommended a number of times. 

((The person we are in communication with doesn’t provide direct answers to questions, overlooks questions & seems to not understand English very well… feeling frustrated!))

Can we do it ourselves? Anyone with experience with this type of visa?

No you can't do the ED visas yourselves, you need paperwork from the school to apply for that. The guardian visas should be straightforward once the ED visas are issued.

Get an agency in Thai. It is complicated, if they can not do it, you can not do it youself.

Some of the big and reputable agencies would just tell you they can do it or not. That consultation online or emails should be free for you.

If they can, there would be a cost to you, a ball park, like 2,000 USD.

This site ( I am not associated with them), Thai Visa Center would know all of that.

Yes, start with your school, tell them what you want to do and they will provide much of the documentation you need
