For my Visa card issued in Netherlands it also says Kasikorn Bank PCL Hong Kong, had no pproblems.

What is strange is the description of the transaction: Fire: departments

Yeah, it probably depends on the bank and the country—fraud flags can vary a lot based on internal policies.

I’ve seen similar cases to mine mentioned on Reddit, so it’s not completely unusual.

the “fire department” description itself is weird

That said, Kasikorn bank is definitely legit, so it’s a bit unclear what’s causing the issue.

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

This sounds good, I am working on mine now. The school is supposed to send me my forms to send in for the visa this coming Monday. So i guess i can start mine. I hope I can get mine done before my flights.
