Thanks for adding me!

I’m looking for advice about the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to bring my Thai girlfriend/fiancé into the US?

Neither of us are rich, just in love and want to get married and live a simple happy life together… 🤷‍♂️

Hi there,

This is a question for people who have applied for DTV in the US. Have any of you shown the cash needed ($15k USD) in a brokerage account? Not as stocks and investments. But the cash amount.

I have a high yielding brokerage account, so want to put the money there, just not sure if that will be alright.

If anyone has experience showing cash in their brokerage account, please let me know.

Thanks!

I would like to know other expats experience.

Mine is that my wife secured her fiancé visa to the other country almost entirely without my help. Yes, she is very intelligent. She also bought a Thai restaurant in the other country almost entirely without my help again. I had to quit my job to help. Yes, she paid me a lot more than my previous job. Now she is an other country citizen and we both collect other country senior citizen benefits.

My point is…all the expat men that I know and got married in Thailand were unable to bring their Thai wife to the other country.

My conclusion is that it may be easier to get a fiancé visa as opposed to another type of visa.

That’s my experience. What is your experience?

I am an American with a Thia girlfriend. I am interested in getting her a tourest visa. I contacted an agency he told me it was hard to get and a fiancé / marriage visa would be easier..

He wants $600 to help fill out paperwork and tell her what to say durring the interview.

This feels a lot like a scam I would aprecate any advice on the best path to take with this.

Hello all! Does anyone have experience or advice for a Thai citizen to get a Visa to visit USA? I have a friend wanting to come visit, but after hours of research I cannot seen to find any real solid information. Some places say buy airline tickets first before interview to show return flight, others say wait for Visa approval.

It looks like the B2 visit is what they are looking for for tourism visit, but could they take some English classes here and travel as student? Since this can be a costly process, I am hoping some here have some advice about best chances of making this happen.

Thanks in advance!

When a Thai woman gets divorced she must wait 310 days to remarry in Thai law . Does that mean you can not start a K1 visa for her to USA until the 310 days are up ? Or those the USA not care about the Thai waiting period ?

IF I am applying for a K-1 Visa for my Thai Fiancé to come here, does she still need to get a visa from Thailand to come, and if so which one would she apply for?

I am in the process of completing the final steps for my wife to immigrate to the USA. She needs to have about a dozen vaccinations that are required. I was surprised at the cost of these at the hospitals in Pattaya and Jomtien. About 20,000 tb. Is their a cheaper alternative for vaccinations there?
