Hi I'm staying in ohuket for 65 days ( just over the 60 days allowed for a UK citizen) can anyone recommend the best way of getting the 30 day visa extension and what documents I will need to bring for this?
Hello. I wanted to ask about extending a DTV visa.
I understood that you need to present ALL the documents that were initially presented when first got the visa,
only now the updated ones. So I wanted to ask:
1. Do you need to bring everything printed there (pay slips, bank balance, employment letter from the employer, etc.) including the translation of the documents into Thai ?!
It's at least 40 pages for me...
2. Some people said that you most present them a place of permanent residence or a house contract ?!
I travel and move from place to place, can I present just the TM30 from the hotel where I am staying at the time ?
3. When is the optimal time to do the extension ? 1 week before DTV expires, ok ?
I have arrived in Hua Hin, I have my none O visa. What do I need to take to immigration to get a Residency certificate? I am getting conflicting information on what I need to take with me. It is for opening a bank account.
How many multiple entries in a multiple entry? Ok I know its a stupid question but one that is in the back of my head. My fiance' (a Thai citizen) and I are taking full advantage of the multiple entry of my DTV, since I originally arrived I've left Thailand six times, sometimes for a day or two. Comeing back is going through immigration again, new TM30 (which I do myeslf at her house) new stamp, extension in the six months in my passport. I'll admit I'm a worrier. But it only takes one inquisitive immigration officer, one note in the computer, one denied entry, one major suspicion and it could all be over. They can cancel your DTV at will. Now my fiance' says not to worry, she's a corporate banker and some of her colleages are leaving the country weekly sometimes more. But they're Thai citizens its a compltely different situaiton. So am I worrying for nothing? I've never once been questioned, just stamped through.
Good Morning, Im arriving in Thailand this week on my first Non O visa based on Retirement from the embassy in London, im a British passport holder.
I feel I have good understanding of the procedure like going to my local IO and finding out the local requirements (Surat Thani in this case) financial requirements, opening a bank account and seasoning the money Etc in regards to my extension of stay.
My question is regarding other paperwork, TDAC ill keep and print off, the initial TM30 thats my air bnb owners resposibilty but after that I have a house rented and a lease in place, my understanding is the landlady will have to do the first one then I could do them after that online or in person, what about going fwd ? everytime I travel internally in Thailand do i need to fill out a TM 30 at everywhere stay? And is there anything else im missing? Thank you in advance to this excellent group.
i wanna do my first 90 days reporting , and in documents i think i need tm30 form also , but i am confused as i have stayed into multiple condo within this 3 months , 1 month in pattaya , then 1 month in bangkok and then 2 to 3 days in hotel and now latest stay is in my condo in bangkom , so which tm30 should i attach as supporting document , can anyone guide me please ?
I'm in Bangkok with a 3 month Non-O visa wanting to extend for retirement. I was getting my documents together and then checked the web and there is no mention of proof of condo rental or health insurance. What am I missing here?
Anyone else come across the issue of having to report into the Immigration dept every 90 days still? I'd had assumed that this requirement wasn't needed as we have a visa for 180 days and if we need to extend to 360 max, we have to see the immigration to renew anyhow. And if youre renting a condo, TM30 form is needed.
