Hi everyone! I have a few questions about the 90-day reporting requirement for DTV visa holders in Thailand.

1. Are DTV visa holders required to do 90-day reporting?

2. Can I do it myself, or do I need to use an agent?

3. Is online reporting possible, or do I have to go to the immigration office in person?

4. If an agent is recommended, could you please share any reliable agents and their fees?

I’d appreciate hearing from people with actual experience as DTV holders. Thanks!
Answer summary
DTV visa holders are indeed required to fulfill the 90-day reporting requirement. They can do it themselves, but must have a TM30 form from their property owner. While online reporting is not available for the first report after each entry, subsequent reports can be handled by agents. Thai Visa Centre is a recommended service provider, charging 500 baht for a single report and 375 baht for bulk reports, with agents attending the immigration office on behalf of clients.

You can use agent if you have TM30

Thai Visa Centre offer 90 day reporting as one of their services. Single report for 500 baht, bulk reports are 375 baht. You create an online account with them. Their agent physically attends an immigration office thus your reports are regarded as 'in person'.

1. Yes

2. Yes, but you need a TM30 from your property owner.

3. The first report after each entry must be done in person.

I just want to say that I appreciate that you just gave him a straight answer and not a snarky comment. It's the rare informational post like the one you made that keeps me in this group and others. Thank you.

this is not accurate...

1) You can submit the TM30 yourself and don't have to wait for the property owner to do it...

2) If ur staying in the same location, then only the first 90D reporting needs to be done in person. The subsequent ones can be done online...

Both are wrong.

1. You can't file a TM30 without the property owner, unless they provide you with their access code for the report system (and you got the legal authorization to do so). Are you a property owner? Because I am! TM47 is not TM30.

2. The vast majority of people who tried to do so online had their 90-day reports refused. That's only possible if you extend with immigration after 180 days. Read the numerous experiences posts.

If a person rents for 1m in one condo, and the next 2m in different - does the person need TM30 from both or the last one only?

As Mick mentioned, each property owner or hotel is required to report you but immigration will only consider the most recent TM30 report.

Both locations should submit a TM30, however when doing your 90 days report you will only need the most recent.
