I need some advice here!

My fiancé and I are about to officialize our marriage. We are starting the process and expect it to be complete in the next week and a half.

I got the DTV visa beginning of November walk in in Taiwan.

My fiancé got a 90 day visa that expires on Feb 3rd.

We plan to go back to Taiwan or maybe even Vietnam this time to apply for his visa as a spouse/dependant.

What I’m wondering is if we will run into any issues with our marriage being so recent. We plan to hire a photographer and dress up the day we go to the Amphur and everything as it’s a super special day for us (been together almost 13 years). But my concern is now that all DTV applications are online, they will see we just got married and think we are doing it just for the visa (We have been engaged since July and planning to get married anyway)

Does anyone have any info or experience with this? It’s my understanding that everywhere is online application now-no walkins. I know once you pay the application fee you cannot get the money back if they decline you so I just want to avoid all of that. Thanks so much!

If you get married after you have received the DTV, can you add your new spouse?

Hi there, I'm looking for Non-O visa advice

My partner is Dutch and has a Non-B and work permit here

I am American and am currently here on a Tourist Visa (with extension I have until October 5th)

Step 1. Get married and registered with a local Amphur

Step 2. Non-O visa for me

A lawyer has said I can convert from Tourist to Non-O for 30k baht, however I think the timeline will be very tight for an in-country conversion, and it is much cheaper to apply on the thaievisa website

Question 1: Can I begin the Non-O application online after we are married but before I leave the country for a couple weeks and then re-enter? The thaievisa website doesn't really know where I'm applying from so it would be nice to get a head start on the waiting period

Question 2: After the Non-O application is submitted, what is the rough turnaround time for the visa to be issued? Just looking for other people's recent experience with the process

After I enter on the 90 day Non-O, I understand it can be extended annually. I was under the impression that it would automatically synchronize with my partner's Non-B.

Question 3: Is that correct? Or will I be on a staggered annual visa compared to his annual visa?

Thank you in advance 🙏
