I've applied at the Osaka embassy because i was in japan at the time and got my visa after 2 weeks but was wondering where Is the nearest place I should go to the next time i want to renew visa

Hi everyone,

I’m applying for the DTV online. I’m a UK citizen but currently travelling. Currently in Anguilla, going via the states to Sri Lanka and then to Thailand. I won’t be in any place for long and don’t have residency in any of these places, I am just travelling as a tourist.

I heard I can apply for the evisa putting my current location as the U.K. as I am a citizen and therefore don’t need to prove residency etc. Is this the case if I’m not there? If not, where should I apply?

They want a return ticket. Is this the "final" Returnticket to Austria at the end or do I need also the tickets to other countries in advance, as it is necessary to leave Thailand every two month withbthis ticket...

My company has a remote work policy to work for 1 month. Should I print out a whole page of that policy and 1 recent payslip to apply?

How should i prove them im working for that company if payslip does not work?

Why do some people have a physical sticker in their passport while others do not? Can you pick up the sticker at your embassy after the visa has been approved? I found the image on Google.

How long till yours got changed from Pending Approval till the visa got issued? And which embassy did you apply from?

I'm currently in Thailand on a 60 day visa exemption undergoing long term medical treatment. Trying to decide if a DTV might be the best option for me over the next year or two. I kind of have a handle on what's required after reading here. I'm pretty sure I can qualify for the medical soft power since I have to see two specialists and purchase an injectable medication monthly. I also have labs scheduled in early March. Acccording to the doctors I have to take this medicine for the rest of my life.

I realize I have to leave the country and apply at an outside embassy. My question is which of the neighbor country embassies would be my best chance for the least hassles?
