Hello everyone, I would like to ask: i have with a friend a travel agency company in Tulum i haven’t been registered in the company until now but now i want to get DTV visa so i am gonna registeer myself in the company a friend told me that if I am gonna registeered myself as a owner of the company i don’t need to show how many money I gain every month but only that in my main bank account i have 500000 bath aproximately 16000 dollars is that correct?

I wanna ask also if my bank account is for other reason in Mann Island in Europe and not in Mexico, is still ok or i will need addictional documents?

If I am gonna registeered myself during this month when I can apply for the DTV visa ?

Which documents exactly i will need to apply and whic country is the best and easiest for applying ? How long is going to take the process ?

Thank you very much

Hey guys, I was approved for my DTV and have already entered the country and have been here about 2 weeks now, but as I’m currently in the proceeds of renting a condo they’ve asked for certain documentation like proof of visa stamp etc, I’ve gone to check and they’ve stamped me for a TR-60, not DTV. Am I going to have to leave the country and re-enter or can I go to the immigration office and get it rectified?

Thanks!

looking for advise here. Perhaps others have some experience on this. My wife is Thai and I had her come to the USA under the K1 Visa. Now we plan to travel back to Thailand and live there moving forward. This means I will be under an Non-O visa when I travel back. I am getting all documents in the USA to make this a smooth transition. From a documentation stand point is there any thing I should look out for. I plan on bringing over several authenticated copies of the marriage certificate from the The Thai Embassy in USA to Thailand.

When renewing the Visa on yearly basis what should I expect?

It looks like exit and re-enter on this Visa is permitted. What does that process look like?

Do I need to have a living location such as a condo locked in prior to landing? Is a hotel sufficient?

I just got my retirement extension at CW imm. I stayed in a hotel for 2 nights and they sent in the TM30 on me. So I’m at immigration and they asked if I stayed at the hotel. It turned out to be that that was the last entry. I said that I believed TM30 was for retuning from outside the country. They told me that it had changed and I have to report every single time. I believe this has something to do with some change in the system in September of this your. I believe that change erased my 11 year history staying at the exact same address, just from the way they talked. Not sure on that.

Dear members,

This question has undoubtedly come up before, but I want to make sure I'm doing it right.

I'm retiring in June next year and want to move to Thailand afterward. I plan to live there for at least nine months a year. My girlfriend is Thai, and we already own a house together, but we're not married.

I'd like to apply for a retirement visa without depositing money in a Thai bank account. I meet the income requirement of 65,000 baht per month with my state pension (AOW) and pension.

My questions are:

When is the best time to apply for the visa?

Should I wait until I officially have my state pension (AOW) and pension documents before applying?

Is it wise to arrange the visa myself, or is it better to have it done through a visa service?

All tips and experiences are welcome. Thanks in advance!
