Can I renew a Non-O visa extension while splitting time between Thailand and the UK?
Please apologies if this question has been asked before and thanks very much for all the valuable information posted on this thread.My question is currently living in uk 57yrs old and want to apply for Non O visa haven’t a problem with The 800000 baht to be left in Thai bank account but because I only want to reside in Thailand for possible 5months of the year and the rest in Uk for possible 2-3years will I have any issue renewing my annual extension.Many thanks for advice.

As long as you have a re entry permit and your back before your extension expires and your funds are in the bank no worries

My Non O 1 year extension is up to 30. September 2026, I am now in Thai, got another extension until September 30. 2027. Bangkok, Samut Prakan Immigration office.
I think, I have to be in Thai to get any next extension.

You will have no problem. I split my year 5-months in Thailand, 4-months in Vietnam and 3-months at home in France. I return to France when it's the rainy season in South East Asia because it's summer in Europe. Enjoy your retirement it was a long time coming.

As long as you're in Thailand during the window you need to apply for another extension each year that shouldn't be an issue.
It might also be worth looking at the 12 month Non-OA visa but that requires insurance, police checks etc
