Does HCMC require the funds to be there for 3 months consecutively or can it be shown that it was saved up?

DTV says need 500k Thai baht for 3 months in bank account with statements. I don’t usually keep much in there. Will an investment account work to prove 500k?

Also, Will I be subject to Thai taxes on a DTV?

Hi everyone, I looked in the group already but couldn't really find an answer. We're going to apply for a DTV in Jakarta with my family. I know that they are fine with us having 500,000 baht for the whole family and that they want 2 months worth of bank statements. I'm just wondering if the 500,000 baht needs to be in the account for the 2 months or if it's ok if it's there for 3 or 4 weeks 🤔. Just asking because they want the money on a bank account in my name and I only have a wise account, not sure I want that much money on a wise account for so long 😅

Thanks everyone for your help!

1) is the 500k THB should be in a Thai bank account or a foreign bank account is also acceptable ?

2) my online business is registered with my company in my original country , can I use my company bank account for the 500k proof?

3) we are 2 people in this company can we both apply for DTV VISA ?

Hi,

When you apply for a Non B, and they ask for 20.000 baht. What kind of document you need to show? Your bank book? Letter from your bank stamped?

Thanks

Will a letter from the Australian Consulate validating a letter from my Superannuation saying I'm entitled to draw a Pension higher than the 800,000 Bht be suffice to maintain my Non O Visa .?

Being fleecing by exchange fees is doing my head in .
