Do children need separate bank accounts for the DTV visa in Thailand?

Hi everyone! May I please have some clarification here?

We have been told by a visa agent that each family member (7 of us) has to have our own bank accounts with our personal names on them for DTV. 4 out of the 7 of us are kids (ages 13,12,11 and 2). For those who have ACTUALLY had to show bank statements for their children, did they have to have their name on the account or is it ok if my husband and I have their required amounts in our bank account??

Family of 5... I am the main applicant. The rest all got dtvs kids aged 13 15 18. Each had to have 500k baht. My account had the 2.5m baht in it as proof. I applied first waited 10 days gpr the visa. Then applied for the balance which took another 10 days

Use the main applicant bank's statement - the same as he provided. I verified this at the embassy.

Most consular offices should accept sponsorship letters for children under the age of 16. With adults it can vary and they may not accept a sponsorship letter at all or require 1m baht (500k per) to be in the account.

No….. whoever is the sponsor can have all the money necessary for all members in their account. I got the DTV and sponsored by husband and 5 kids

I applied in London and money was in my account. Had equivalent of 1 million baht for my son and me in there. Theyre dependents. Seems highly unlikely a child will have their own account with that much in but i suppose you could transfer it into a child accoutn for purposes of the visa
