Hello. I have a question about TM30form. My landlord put the wrong date on the check in date and for some reasons, she is saying she cannot resubmit the form. (I read online, you can resubmit the form with corrected date. This is my first time coming to Thailand, so I don't know) She supposedly called the immigration office and asked if she can resubmit the form and if I'll have problem with the 90 days report if the date is wrong. She told me that I'll have no problem. Is this correct? Or I'm going to have problem?

90 Day Report query: seeking clarification on my TM30 form. Is it necessary that the form is dated very recently? I have sought AI clarification but it’s not conclusive. Basically I’m a DTV holder, have left Thailand and been granted my usual further 6 months but need to do another 90 day report, obvs. Tried the online process but it’s not permitted as it’s the first 90 day report since my second or third entry in to Thailand. My landlord gave me the TM30 form but it was dated from 13th November -does anyone know if this will be rejected because it needs to be more recent than that?

TIA

Hello everyone! I want to apply for the 90-day report for the first time with a DTV visa. Which documents do I need to prepare, and could you please guide me through the process?

Good morning

I currently live in Chiang Mai on a Non O with yearly extension, if I relocate to say Hua Hin would the renewal process and 90day reports be straight forward or would I have to go through extra processes?

Thank you.

90 day reporting

Reporting in Bangkok can be done 2 weeks before the 90 day date or within 1 week after the 90 day date. After that you will be fined.

1. Don’t go early in the morning, you’ll wait the entire day. I came at 1PM and got to the counter in approx. 2 - 3 hours. There are 6 counters and it takes approx. 5 min per person.

2. You only need your passport, a filled TM47, and a TM30. I printed my passport scans, property lease, and my DTV visa. All they took is a TM47, that I filled in at the immigration office, and my TM30. If you remember, write down the arrival card number on the TM47. If you don’t remember, don’t stress, no one is going to do anything with you. My immigration officer was nice, she wrote that down herself.

3. Make sure your address is properly mentioned in the TM30. I was rejected the first time because my address in TM30 was just the name of the condo. You need to have the name of the condo, address, and your room / condo number.

If you’re using the BTS to get to the immigration, don’t follow Google Maps, follow the people and they will lead you to a free shuttle bus thst goes between the BTS and the governmental complex.

Good luck 🙏🏼

Well that was fun.

1 year O A extension at Nonthaburi

Everything by the book. Went a week before and got a printed list of the documents required. Nothing unusual. Bank book with today’s date, passport, bank letter, insurance certificate.

Go to bank to get book updated and letter

Then to office.

SURPRISE!

also yellow book, wife’s IC (!?), copy of TM30, a 15 minute negation on whether or not a number greater than 800k is….greater than….800k

And then a 1 hour wait as the clerk forgets to call that the passport is ready.

Learnings:

1). Update bank book FIRST. that way if for some odd reason it doesn’t give today’s date you can sort it at the counter -1 stop

2). No matter what the office says for paperwork bring EVERYTHING and make a copy of EVERYTHING.

anyway, good for another year. Jan I start the LTR as I really do not want to go thru this rubbish every year.

Hi all, I’ll be coming to Thailand end of November beginning of December on a non o based on retirement (UK), my question is can I open a bank account while staying in a hotel ? My plan is first couple of weeks in hotel while looking for a condo. Is it possible to open a bank account while staying at a hotel and what documents would I need to do this ?

Also does anyone recommend any agencies for rental and sale of condos in Pattaya/Jomtien area ?

Thanks for any advice and recommendations

Hello!

I have a 1-year retirement visa, a multi-reentry permit. Please tell me, when I return to Thailand, do I need to register with the immigration and a new TM30 form every time? My address does not change, I have a 1-year lease contract. Thank you!
