Does the Hua Hin immigration office at Blueport deal with applications for 30 extensions from those with 60 day tourist visas as well as people with a 30 day exemption stamp.
Also do you need an appointment or is it a walk in service like Bangkok?
Hello friends. What is the requirement to do an in-country conversion of a 30 days exemption stamp into a non Imm O Visa (for Thai Spouse). All I found out by Googling is that you must fill a TM87 form and your exemption must have at least 15 days validity. Do they want other documentation? (e.g. Khor Ror 2, bankbook and so on). I confess I'm a little bit confused about it.
Really thanks for any help, it's kinda appreciated.
Can you apply for a covid extension (60days) even if you come in to Thailand on a 30 day exemption stamp ? We would love to get the 60 days rather than the 30 days extension —> then leaving the kingdom and getting stamped back in for an additional 30 days so that the total of 90 days is without leaving Thailand...I’m just not sure if this is possible when u come to Thailand without a visa and only a 30 day stamp on arrival 🙂 would be brill as we have a baby and with all the tests /Thai pass etc would make life a lot easier!
30day exemption stamp expires on April 29th— With this new proposal to emergency extensions till end July, is it necessary to travel to Chiang Wattana Immigration for an official stamp??
Hi, not strictly a visa question as I'm on the 30 day exemption stamp. I'm picking up new passport from my embassy this week, do I have to have my 30 days stamped into new passport, if yes do I need a letter from my embassy confirming passport change. I live in Chiang Mai. Thank you.
Hi, I am planning on coming to Thailand from South Africa in December. I am hoping to find a teaching position- I have the relevant teaching degree's and experience as well as TEFL course.
I have just heard that they are not giving South Africans visas and we have to sort our visa out in SA before we come as it's the only embassy that will process it? (The non b visa) but I can only get this visa once I have a job right? I've heard though that you can only really secure a teaching position once you in Thailand as they want you to come in to the schools etc. I was going to come on the 30 day exemption stamp you get at the airport and in those 30 days hopefully secure a job and then sort the non b visa and work permit out while there. Now I'm hearing this and stressing a bit. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hello group. Question? If I were looking to extend my 30 days exception stamp, could I extend before the last day? Ex. Last day is July 30, if I go to the immigration office to file an extension on June 20. Will grand the extension from July 30th or the date filed?
