Hi guys, quick question that I'd bet some of you know 😊. On visa exempt (30 days on arrival) and plan to extend 30 more days at immigration for 1900 (familiar with the process, done it many times here and there over the years). What I can't remember, and what my question is: Will I get 30 more days from the day I go into immigration, or 30 days from the last day on my stamp? I ask because of the upcoming holiday- I'll have to go in early because mine expires over the closed dates.... I'm just curious if I should wait till the last minute or if I could go in early next week before it gets really busy, and whether that will affect my 30 days or not 😅

Thanks for your time.

Apologies if this is obvious to many but better to check then fall fowl. If I enter visa exempt (From Australia), the 30 days starts on the date of the stamp in my passport on day of arrival and I have to leave on or before the 30th day? Booking flights and want it right. Thanks in advance.

Hello guys 🙂

I’m German and entered Thailand on voa almost 30 days ago.

My problem was thatbi applied for a 60 day e visa which arrived too late. So I entered by voa.

My question now is: I have to extend the 30 days next week ( stamp till 24.01.24 ) but wondering if I could use my approved e visa which was approved on 28.12.2023.

it says it „must be used till 26.03.24 „ so does it mean that when I leave the country now and come back on my old e visa , the 60 days starting by entering Thailand again or which start date is counting for 60 days …. Please help 😘

I don’t want to waste tjis visa so very appreciate any kind of help.

Greets

Coming from Canada on a 30- day,Visa Exemption stay, can my $750.00 ( converted toThai baht before leaving) be shown in cash to the Immigration officer or is a bank statement needed;. if a bank statement, please provide detailed info. One month, 2 month, balance only, debits/credits shown?

Due to a clerical error on my part my 60 day tourist visa app. was cancelled 15 days before my scheduled flight departure, not leaving me enough time to re-apply. I'm understandably nervous about doing something wrong if I decide to go the Visa Exemption route. Thanks for all of the info provided on this site.

Travelling from Canada, I'm eligible for a visa exemption and 30 day stay. I am aware of all paperwork, etc. needed. My question is:

Does Immigration need to see proof of a domestic flight to CMX? I was hoping to book after clearing Immigration. Thanks.

Hi everyone! Hoping someone can help with an odd question, I’ve tried Googling the answer but it doesn’t seem too straight forward.

AU citizen flying into Bangkok as it is the cheapest port of arrival into South East Asia on my chosen date (Oct). I’d like to spend a few days in Bangkok before heading straight over to Cambodia.

I’d then like to return to Thailand via the north of Laos later in November.

Will I need to apply for a specific visa for this, or will I be able to continue on with the original 30 days tourist via granted on entry? If I do need a different visa, is there an ideal way to apply for it?

Thank you in advance!

Just a quick question, is there a limit to how many times in a year you can visit Thailand for 30 days under the exemption from the UK? I was there for two weeks in April, a month in July/August and want to return for a month mid December/mid January for a month. Thanks :)
