Hello, for applying for a five-year visa, is it mandatory to have 500,000 baht in the bank account, or can it be shown as annual card turnover instead?
Answer summary
The requirement for a five-year visa in Thailand generally includes having 500,000 baht in a personal bank account for a minimum of three months prior to application. Several comments suggest this requirement is strict and that other options, such as the Elite visa or education visas, may require upfront payments or other criteria like course attendance.

Thank you. What other options are there to live in Thailand for more than one year, maybe through a boxing visa, but so that it’s not too expensive?

maybe education visa but you will probably have to extend it every 3 months by visiting immigration and have a paid up course. Immigration will come to the gym and check you have been attending

agree with Lee, this is boring how many people use these forums without doing much research themselves. Many trying to get around the requirements. Then 20-30 people all jump on board and try to help the helpless.
