If you have a DTV and you exit after six months, is it a mandatory requirement to have 500,000 bath in your account once again while re-entering Thailand? Will the immigration require you to have that money in liquid in your account?
Morning all… I accessed the new TM06 online form to test it out as I will have to use this regularly in the future. However when it asks for country of residence Thailand is not an option. I live in Thailand but work overseas. It is easy enough to put in a different country and another phone number, but this is not applicable to everyone. Do we know if the form is still in development or do we have to use a different country of residence.
I was just told in the TDAC starting 1st of May in the place of residence column, Thailand is not an option? So what is everyone living here supposed to put?
Has anyone entered the country via a land border on a DTV visa for the first time (aka "activating" the visa from via a land border)? I was wondering is it's hassle free, or one has to enter the Kingdom via air to have it activated for the first time. Thanks!
Recently changed to a Non-O. I asked about being able to leave the country and I was told if I left before the first 90 days I might not be allowed back in. Was told exits could be discussed after the first 90 days. Nowhere in the process was mentioned a single or multiple entry visa. The reality is I only want to be here for maybe 5 months out of the year, leaving when it gets too toasty for me. It seems Thailand leaves entry up to the discretion of Immigration. Can someone add a bit of clarity to this for me? Thanks.
Can I apply for DTV as an Etsy Seller. What documents can I show regarding the same? Do I have to show a certain number of sales or years of operations? Thanks
