Hello everyone. I intend to extend my tourist visa at immigration for 30 days. This is my first entry into Thailand this year. Am I likely to encounter any problems? Because I understand that the authorities in Thailand are now very strict. I ask because I saw a post by a tourist who was not approved for some reason, even though this is his first entry this year.

Applying for LTR WP Visa, im in the fial review stage, however im reading the Visa stamp process, it says i will get stamped is what is remaining time on my home country passport which is two years remaining, so to me this means I will only be truly eligible for 7 years, because I will need to reapply after my 2 years remaining on my passport will expire, also to get another stamp I will need to reapply to BOI, to see if im still financially eligible. So to me its not actually 5+5 in reality its what's remaining on your passport and when you renew your passport you will have the chance to apply for the additional 5 years. I would need to pay $3200 usd for me and my spouse and another $3200 usd if we choose to reapply for the additional 5 years?? Maybe im reading the rules wrong, it looks like I'll be short 3 years

How can Visa agents guarantee entry? I spent more than 150 days in Thailand in the last 8 months and apparently with agents they do all the talking with immigration and in most cases you can enter country.

I'll probably get denied if I go solo, does anyone has similar experiences and what does the agent do behind the scenes? Anyone has any insights? Thanks!

Hi

Me and my . Thai wife are returning to Thailand in March. The question I’m asking is my wife only has an Australian passport. Will she be allowed to re-enter Thailand and stay for good or will she need a visa

For all interested, with my on arrival visa about to expire January 1st 2026, I travelled to Laos December 30th, spent 2 nights there as required by Thai immigration and then re entered Thailand on January 1st. I now have a new 60 day on arrival visa stamp in my passport. I am a US passport holder

I did this with proof of accommodations, bank statement, ample baht, and proof of departure in march. Immigration did not ask to see any of these photocopies. I only presented my passport and digital arrival card.

I’m not saying you will have the same experience under similar circumstances but this is the way it went for me through Chiang Khong.

Best of luck to all who love Thailand and wish to extend their stay.

Happy new year, friends

Hello Everyone,

Thanks to the admin for accepting my request! 😊

I'm currently in Chiang Mai on an Ed+ visa and need to apply for a visa to another country. They require a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). Could someone guide me on where to go in Chiang Mai to get a PCC? What are the steps I need to follow?

Thanks in advance!
