Just visited phuket immigration for the latest list of documents for the Non O retirement visa. There seems to be a couple of changes from last year. Photo copy of every Thai stamp in passport, all photo copies of documents in portrait NOT landscape. Must update your Tm30 (address) at room 101 or drive through first on day of application. Bank statement from visa issue date.

I have a visa non B from Kota Baru Malaysia. On the sticker visa, the end of the visa is 9 October but the officer at the border stamp 8 October.

Do you think it will be considered overstay if I leave on the 9 ?

Hello everyone,

I have been facing serious legal challenges that have left me feeling trapped and in distress.

Recently, I was involved in a legal matter that resulted in a harsh penalty 1 years prison instead of similar case is just a fine, which I believe was unjust due to multiple violations of my rights throughout the process. I have experienced threats, physical harm, and coercion that have significantly affected my well-being and much more, give me my sentence only after tell me to say no for a lawyer, i said 2 word during the court hearing who take less than 2 min. This is my first offense, and I have a clean criminal record, i paid the fees damages but one of them was know by the judge.

Currently, I have to make appealing the decision, but I am deeply concerned about the possibility of being stuck in Thailand for 6 months to a year without the ability to work or support myself here. This situation is not only financially burdensome but also mentally challenging, as I fear for my safety and psychological well-being. They also dont allowed to me to leave the country i cannot leave there.

I am looking for any advice on how to navigate this situation, particularly:

• Recommendations for legal assistance or NGOs that can help with my case.

• Any contacts or resources within expatriate groups that may provide guidance.

• Suggestions for how to resolve these issues amicably before my appeal.

I appreciate any support or information you can provide. Thank you for taking the time to read my message.

I am currently on a “O” marriage visa based on marriage to a Thai

I am considering changing it to a Retirement visa when it exprires in December and using an agent to get through the financial requirements

My question is has anyone with 1st hand experience using a Visa agency and what are the time frames involved and procedures like how many visits to the immigration office etc.

Thank you for knowledgable answers only please 🙏

Today I was pleasantly surprised when I went to renew my Retirement Visa in Surin. I didn’t realize that being single, you don’t need to have 800,000 baht in a Thai bank to show proof of funds. You need to have a Thai bank account and provide immigration with a certified bank statement covering a 1 year period showing that you transfer 65,000 baht per month to a Thai bank from a bank which you can draw funds without penalty…I have always used a visa services in the past so I was unaware of the requirements. In and out in less than an hour…..1900 baht + 1000 baht for a 1 time multi- entry in case I want to travel home.

Hi all! I’m after a little bit of clarification regarding my visa. I‘m in the UK atm and applied for the 90 day retirement O visa which has just been approved. However, on the application I did I said my travel date would be 28th of October so therefore wanted 90 days from there but on the email it says visa valid from 28th of September to 28th of December. Does this mean they made a mistake or is that the window in which I have to use it and the 90 days start from the day I land back in Thailand?
