Re entered back to Thailand with work permit. But I have a flight tomorrow again to another country.

My work permit cancelled before, still they gave me until end of my visa. Will I have any problem if I leave Thailand tomorrow? Thanks indeed.

I’m trying to get my head around all of the different types of visas available and which one would best suit me? In all of the discussions, on this forum, I haven’t read anything about the Thai Elite Visa.

Qualification appears quite simple?

Or, am I missing something?

What are the qualifications for Thailand Elite Membership?

The applicants must meet and maintain the following qualifications:

Holder of a foreign passport

Being allowed to stay in Thailand in accordance with the immigration laws, which means the applicant has no overstay record in Thailand

No age limit is required for this program.

Not having been sentenced by a judgment to imprisonment in any country except for an offense committed to negligence

Not having been adjudicated bankrupt

Not having been declared as a person of unsound mind, incompetence, or quasi-incompetence

Any positive feedback would be welcomed. 🙏

Hello 🙏. I am looking to apply for a DTV visa in Laos as I heard it was a fast process (around a week)

I am currently talking to a gym in North Phuket about getting a letter of acceptance for a 6 month course that I can present to the embassy along with my bank account funds.

The gym is fully certified as a professional Muay Thai Camp. There is a plaque outside stating their certification by the Office of Boxing Sport Board , Sports Authority of Thailand Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

My question is do I just need to get the letter of acceptance written by the gym (1 day) or do I have to wait for the Boxing office in Thailand to approve me first before applying in Loas. I think the gym owner doesn’t fully understand the process about this letter and keeps trying to refer me to his agent.

From my research I understood he can write the letter and I can immediately go to Loas and be approved quickly. Am I correct ? Thanks 🙏

Hello!

I want to make DTV visa for me and my partner (we are not married yet, but we are together for loooong time).

We plan to apply separately, but add cover letter about our situation.

I need help about money statement in that case.

Do we need to have 500k for my statement and 500k for partner statement? Or my statement + sponsor letter would be enough?

What to do if she cannot show money for 6-month period, only 2-6 weeks before applying?

Please, anybody who was in that situation, help

Thanks in advance

Hello, I am exploring the idea of getting the DTV visa via Muay Thai training. Looking for gyms in Bangkok, since that is where I plan on living. Anyone have any experience that they can share pros and cons? Any recommendations on legit approved gyms that work with DTV visa applications?

Hello, re bank statements. I'm applying for DTV in Hanoi. I am seeing that they are requiring 6 months of bank statements, correct? Does every statement have to show over 500,000 baht ($15,000)? Because my last two months do indeed, thankfully, but money was dipping low over the summer.

Hey everyone,

I’m flying to Hanoi next week to apply for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) – workation route.

Here’s my situation with the bank statement (the famous 500k THB for 3+ months rule):

• I run a fully online e-commerce business registered in my home country.

• I am the sole owner and only person with access/signatory.

• The company bank account is under my full legal name + “Company Ltd” (or LLC, whatever the equivalent is) at the end.

• This account has had well above 500k THB (actually way more) sitting there for over 3 months, and the turnover in the last 6–8 months is in the multiple millions of baht (lots of incoming and outgoing payments from platforms, suppliers, ads, etc.).

• I use this company account for pretty much everything tax-wise: rent, internet, food, transportation, travel – all legally declared as business expenses in my country because the business is 100% online/location-independent.

I do have a personal account, but it has basically zero history and almost no money in it right now.

My question to people who already went through the DTV process (especially in Hanoi or other “strict” embassies):

1. Have you successfully used a company bank account that has your personal name + “Ltd/LLC/Co. Ltd” at the end? Did they accept it without any drama?

2. Or would you play it safe and transfer the money to a clean personal account now (even if that personal account will only have the money + transfer for a couple of weeks before I print the statement)?

I know some people say “only personal account” but I’ve also seen recent reports of company accounts being accepted as long as your name is clearly on it and you can prove you’re the sole owner.

What would you do in my shoes? Leave it in the very solid company account (tons of history, huge turnover, balance never dropped below the requirement) or rush a transfer to personal and lose most of the transaction history?

Appreciate any recent experiences – especially Hanoi consulate!

Thanks
