So don't be an idiot like me. I went to immigration only Koh Phangan to request a visa extension armed with all the documents, only to find out you now need an appointment! I had no idea. I am now going to Koh Samui for an appointment at 9:00 am tomorrow. No appointments available in Koh Phangan. They told me to go and do a visa run!

What's the meaning of 90 days report online rejection (second time) ? after reporting in person the first time

Has anyone gotten the DTV as a voice actor? I would think that would qualify as remote work for the purposes of the visa, right?

I applied for the DTV visa on May 6th via the Los Angeles consulate with the e visa platform, as a digital nomad.

I received a request for additional documents on May 23rd and I submitted them the same day.

I have yet to receive a status update after the status changed to "pending document check" upon submission.

The website for this consulate says 15 business days for initial response, and if additional documents are requested, it will take another 5 business days.

My planned flight leaves June 20th(US).

It is currently the 16th and I have yet to hear anything.

I saw one post on reddit about delays with additional document processing through this consulate, but it took 11 business days after additional document submission for him.

It has been longer for me.

Has anyone had similar experiences, or any ideas on how to expedite this?

I have emailed the consulate but no response, can't contact via phone either.

Hi, i am going to apply for the yearly O retirement Visa using the monthly 65.000 transfer system soon. ( Currently doing the 800.000 system.

Q- what do you guys do if you are out of Thailand as far as the 65.000 transfer every month. Do you stop the transfer while you are away, or do you have to transfer 65.000 every month regardless of where you are? Thanks.

My husband and I are going from Thailand to Vietnam to apply for our DTV visas. What is the website we need to go to for applying? I just want to make sure we go to the right site.

I'm on non o retirement visa that's up for renewal January next year. I usually apply for renewal December. My question is, my passport expires April 2027, so will have 15 months left on it at time of visa renewal. Is it a requirement to have at least 18 months left on passport, or will I be alright to get new passport after visa renewal. Thanks.

Hi all, I am currently on a Non-B visa (for the past two years) but recently got married to a Thai male and am planning to change over to Non-O marriage visa, we plan to leave the country and apply outside, but we aren’t sure where we want to go. Due to having to go out we decided to make it into a trip and want to go to Japan. Has anyone applied for a Non-O in Japan or outside the country and what was required?

I have a list of requirements but it can be different depending on the country your apply in and we’ve read and been advised so many different ways and options that it’s a bit confusing now.

Any advice or clarification would be wonderful!
