DTV application online via Germany

Hi everyone,

I’ve been in touch with an agency that is helping me with my DTV application.

My situation is: I’m a German citizen, but I’m deregistered from Germany and currently living in Bali.

The agency told me that I could either apply for the visa online via Germany or fly to Vietnam, and they actually recommended Germany.

Does anyone here have any experience with that?

I was a bit unsure because I’m deregistered from Germany and definitely don’t want to trigger any tax liability or anything like that.

Hello everyone, I’ve been looking through the posts and can’t really find any information about this and if it’s out there, I apologize for missing it.

What I’m really curious about this because I travel full-time is putting the place of application on the application for example I currently my legal residency in Florida in the United States of America, but I travel on a cruise ship this time so do I need to actually go to an embassy or anything like that back in the US physically or have to plan out and visit along my travels where I’m gonna be at to be there physically?

Hi all, I am currently on a Non-B visa (for the past two years) but recently got married to a Thai male and am planning to change over to Non-O marriage visa, we plan to leave the country and apply outside, but we aren’t sure where we want to go. Due to having to go out we decided to make it into a trip and want to go to Japan. Has anyone applied for a Non-O in Japan or outside the country and what was required?

I have a list of requirements but it can be different depending on the country your apply in and we’ve read and been advised so many different ways and options that it’s a bit confusing now.

Any advice or clarification would be wonderful!

You must apply from the country where your employment is based.

I work for myself online. Will I still be able to apply while visiting in Vietnam? Has anyone had experience with this firsthand?

I am a UK resident but am currently traveling in Spain. Can I still apply and claim as a currently UK based, or will this cause any issues?
