Pakistani nationality. Applying from karachi.

How many days should my duration of stay be? Intended date of departure means the day i will leave thailand again right?

I want to go for 6 months directly. I’m not sure if i will get the dtv. What ticket should i get ? I dont want to waste my ticket. Also my accommodation. Is it necessary to get a paid accomodation or pay at the property from booking.com works? How many days accomodation do i need to show here?

Also it says if u dont get multiple, the difference is not refundable. So will i have to pay the whole dtv visa fee for single entry??

P.S if anyone has gotten dtv from pakistan, i would love to know your experience and how you got the visa. I’m applying as a freelancer workcation

Another question concerning the

NON-IMMIGRANT VISA (O) RETIREMENt Visum

They wanna know the duration of stay. What if I can only prove I have accommodation for the first few days?

Because i am not exactly sure where i go after the first 7 days in bangkok and i wanna decide in Thailand.

Is that a problem?

Thank you

I am filling the DTV application form and not sure how to fill the duration of stay. I plan to stay at least 1 year but the visa only allows up to 180 days per entry. Should I limit the number of days to 180 or would be fine if the number of days is much longer? Also there is a section to add flight numbers. I'm not booking flights until the visa is granted. Any help/suggestion on how to fill this sections is really appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi, I got a question for the accommodation info in Thailand.

We plan to get DTV first, then stay at a hotel for 1 month, during that time and we'll find and sign a 1 year condo contract.

So I guess we'll have to put the 1 month hotel info. Duration of stay (Days) we put 30 days.

But our actual duration of stay (Days) is 743 day(s). Could anyone help with what to put in the form? Or what should we do to streamline the process based on our plan?

Appreciated!

Thailand Non-Immigrant O Visa (Single Entry)

Validity of Visa: When you are issued a Non-O visa (single entry), it's usually valid for 90 days from the date of issue. This means you must enter Thailand within those 90 days.

Duration of Stay: When you enter Thailand using that visa, you will be granted a 90-day stay, regardless of how many days are left before the visa expires.

Example:

Visa issued: 1 July

Visa valid until: 28 September (90 days later)

You enter Thailand: 27 September

Your stamp at immigration: 90 days from 27 September → so, until 25 December

✅ Key point: The validity period is only about how long you have to use the visa to enter. Once you're in, the 90-day stay starts from your date of entry.
