DTV holders

What did you write in the application form at:

1. Proposed duration in Thailand( I know it’s a 5 years visa, but is that what you wrote?)

2. Date of arrival in Thailand (was it the last time you visited or the date you plan to visit?)

When filling out the application for Vientiane what do input for the following fields?

1. Duration of stay in Thailand? Do I just write 180 days?

2. Name and contact of guarantor in Thailand?

3. Name and contact of guarantor in Laos?

4. Travelling by? Can I just write “by land”

Also if it accepted to fill out the form digitally and print it out or do they prefer old school and hand written?

This is a question for anyone who has applied through Taipei.

When filling out the application form for visa, I am unsure on what to write in certain boxes so would love some help from someone who has been successful in the process.

I.D No: (I thought this might be passport number but they ask for that too, so unsure what this is)

Purpose of visit to Thailand: (I was thinking about ticking “other” and writing DTV?)

Proposed duration of stay in Thailand: (6 months? 5 years? Again, unsure what is best to say)

And finally: Place of stay in Thailand: (do I just write the address of a random hotel? Because it certainly won’t be the place I’ll be staying for long, but maybe for the first week)

Is it true that if I get DTV and not use 180 days, let’s say only 150 days and then come back to my country and reenter Thailand next calendar year clock starts counting again? If yes this can be done through whole validity of the visa (5 years)?

Be aware that you will have an income tax bill if you stay in Thailand for more than 180 days.

Hello, i have a MTEV VISA , the permission of stay of my last stamp is 06 July

And the « must be used by » date is 15th June

If I exit and comeback on 12th June for example I can get a 60 days even if I already got 60dayz x3 stamps since January?

I am just arriving from Europe and I got a 45 days entry allowance at the airport entering without visa. I am actually allowed to stay till the 27th of January and I am staying in BKK in a condo of my property. If I am planning to extend my stay after the foreseen 45 days, do I need since now to declare my presence here in my condo at Wattana authorities since now?? Can anyone confirm that LAND border entry is now 45 days as well? I have read this is the case but just wanted to see if this is accurate.
