As for renewing driving licenses, you get 2year with DTV not 5year, I guess this was expected as its a tourist visa, but I had some hopes because its 5year visa 😝

And for requirements, on DLT website it says certificate of residence but no, you need the same paper from IO that you needed when you got your first license (for motorbike, and car, different papers).

The officer at transportation office said, and wrote on my appointment letter that I need 1 cert and 1 copy of it. A bit confusing since i renew motorbike and car. Car they check both boxes in 1 paper?

I have never renewed a license here before, so of course obvious things for some people, but just FYI for people like me...

You also need to print out the certificate of your 1hour training, showing from phone is not enough.

I submitted my DTV from Ho Chi Minh

I only put 7 days on my evisa for Vietnam, which was stupid because I will now likely have to leave if my dtv isn’t approved by then.

Here are my questions

Do I have to stay in Vietnam for the entirety of the approval process? Or am I allowed to leave

And if I have to stay, can I do a land or air border run and will it affect my application?

Hi advice on going from 800k I the bank to 65k a month. My question is I been sending at least 65k per month since February and hold 400k in my bank account now. Visa is due in October. Is this possible to get my visa if I continue to do this and is there a agent that will help me gain my visa. Good advice but have been told it can be a combination of both. Providing that it meets 800k total. So are there any agents out there that can help

I was just curious. The best way to transfer the 800,000 baht that is required for visa from your bank in America to a Thai bank when opening a new account. Do they have a domestic router number in Thailand? Thanks

What is the best Visa to apply for if I want to come out with idea to look for place to live? Area. I don’t think tourist visa with 60+ 30 will be enough time. I’ve spent 3 months there on Holliday touring the country but lool at it for living.
