For passport pictures of all the pages: is it better to do scans of the pages OR take pictures with the phone ? One is more professional, the other is more authentic. What did you do ?

I went for a 30 day extension on a VOA and the stamp states that I must submit a re-entry permit before leaving? Anyone else have this?

Update:

On Friday, June 20th, I received a request for a business registration again. This was one of the first additional documents requested, I sent the entity search on the state of Deleware's website the first time.

Sent the actual articles of incorporation this time, over the weekend.

Status changed to pending approval today.

Hi everyone.

I went to the DLT in Bang Chak a few days ago to convert my home license to a Thai driving license. I got a queue and was sent back home. Before leaving I asked the officer if I have to do the test anytime at home and return with the printed result on 1 July at 08:00 and he just nodded. 🧐

When I try to do my convert test on the DLT website it just says “Coming soon”.

So my question is: do I need to do the test on 1 July at 08:00 online at home then go back to the DLT office on a later date whenever I want? Or do I have to go there in person on the given date and do the test there?

Thank you.

Is anyone experiencing difficulties with eVisa applications, every time I fill in the application then save I can’t retrieve it and similarly when I go to edit it does not allow it to be edited. This has been over the last week.

I’m now looking to just enter on 60 days and talk with my local immigration in Ubon to arrange an extension or visa there by doing a border bounce as I have done previously

Not necessarily a visa question but I would imagine you need it, can you get a Thai credit card or are you better off with one from your home country - Australian

I was in Thailand the month of April on a 90-day non-o, opened a bank account and returned to the U.S. House closed quicker than I expected and now I will return Thursday the 26th of June. The 90-day non-o still is not expired date wise, but once I left it was invalidated at that point, correct? Best just to come back on 60-day visa exempt and get my money seasoned and go straight into the 12-month extension?

hey - I'm heading to Bangkok Aug 30th - I'm on Duke Language Schools website and I'm reading through the application / visa process to better understand what I will have to do to get my ED visa. It says I need to sign every page! After doing so they want me to send a copy of it to the school (that's fine). However, I can't help but think signing all the pages might cause problems upon arrival. in addition to this info, I have a strong feeling signing each page is like signing the back of a credit card or a check which is just an indication of authenticity and mitigate any fraudulent use...is this correct? can I sign every page - arrive in the country and be ok to continue to receive additional stamps in the future?

My friend has a Retirement visa. Got her certificate of residency at Udon Thani immigration. Her primary account is BBL in BKK. So she opened a second bank account in Kasikorn bank in UTH as she's staying in UTH long term.

Surprised that Kbank said as a foreigner, her daily withdrawal limit for apps transfer, ATM withdrawal, cardless withdrawal is THB 50,000. QR code payment limit is THB 5,000. They only told her this limit after they set up her account.

Bank said this is the latest rule for Foreigner.

I find this extremely difficult to operate. For any payments that's larger amount than THB 50,000, she needs to go to the bank, stand in line to do a transfer to third party payee.

Kasikorn bank used to have a transaction limit of 5 million per day for K+ app.

I understand that they are cracking down on scammers etc, but a limit of THB 50,000 is ridiculous!

Told my friend to continue to use her BBL instead to make payments to suppliers. (she's building a house).

I hope Kbank's new rule for foreigner doesn't affect older customers prior to the change. 🙏🙏🙏
