TLDR : Answer Summary
The content revolves around preparing for travel to Thailand with a DTV Visa. An expat shares their experience of printing and laminating their DTV Visa for easy access upon arrival at DMK airport. Other commenters discuss their own experiences with presenting their visas, suggesting that having a printed version or a digital format may suffice at immigration. There are also discussions about where to print and laminate documents in Thailand, the necessity of having a physical copy, and overall experiences at immigration checkpoints.
I tried this at the print stand outside of immigration and the guy said that I did not need to carry this because I have my DTV stamp and because it's an Evisa, I will carry it anyway because things change from week to week in Thailand, you have to keep on top of things , even the websites aren't helpful, everything is so confusing!๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ
well if you keep it in a velvet bag Iโm sure it will last but highly unlikely they will even ask as they already know from your tdac approval to enter the country, that you have a DTV just hand the passport over to the IO and await the coveted and exclusive DTV stamp๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ
Showed IO a copy on my phone when she asked to see it Sunday morning at Suvarnabhumi. No drama. She specifically asked to see my "e-visa". (If your phone's out of battery when you arrive I'm sure they'll help you charge it.)
Anonymous participant 534 Just go to a Kodak shop in Thailand. They will do it for you. I have a Credit Card sized copy of my Passport Bio page one side and visa the other
