What did you guys write in "length of stay"?

I'm applying DTV 'workcation', and due to my work I'll be flying in & out often, sometimes few weeks, sometimes few months, not sure now.

So I'm worried, if I write my 1st length of stay 15 (or 65) days, they just might issue regular Tourist visa 60 days (or 6m METV) even if I apply & pay DTV (I saw a few cases here).

I'm applying at Thai embassy in Hungary, my 1st entry is at the end of this month, and I don't know how long will be my 1st stay yet.

I rent Thai condo annually (my current lease is from December 2024 until December 2025).

Thanks guys.

Hello everyone - just wodnering - TDAC with DTV visa, country of residence

I have my long term DTV approved and have entered once without a problem (stayed 4 months).

I am renting an apartment long term and have my primary residence in Thailand, however I have not registered for taxes etc yet (I will).

I have an adress in Spain aswell.

So I wanted to know, on the TDAC, can I write that country of residence is Thailand or will I get in trouble?

Thanks in advance

Have any DTV holders on soft power gone to their home country for the Xmas/holiday season and faced any difficulty when coming back into Thailand? This is obviously a normal reason to exit and re-enter, but if anyone was grilled for "not participating" in their activity please comment with your experience! šŸ™

Hi All, we are currently in Ho Chi Minh about to apply for our DTV. My fiance is applying with me as a defacto however it's asking for a copy of the marriage licence? Do we have to be married for me to be added as a defacto on Her visa? Thanks!

Just wondering whether anyone has used an O-A to enter Thailand and swapped to an O after the first 12 months.

I am looking at Moratorium Insurance for the first 12 months and then self Insuring on an O Visa?

Cheers,

Just for clarity I’ve just waited three hours at chang wattana to be told that my first 90 day reporting should not be here it should be in Nonthaburi immigration

so not everybody comes to the main one in Bangkok and this is what everybody is actually saying that you should be coming hereļæ¼ for your first time. So it’s determined by your Bangkok location.

If on a retirement extension using the 800K can I change from one bank to another for example from Banngkok Bank to Kasikorn? How would immigration deal with this for my next extension?

I was looking at the soft power DTV application and saw that it is asking for employment details. While I am technically still employed until November, I feel I should say I am unemployed as that is what I'll be once I move to Thailand. Thoughts? My employer wouldn't provide me with a letter saying I'm allowed to work abroad.

Seemed odd to me that they're asking for employment details for the soft power DTV.
