Had 3 arrivals at Phuket airport in the past 3 months (last one past week), stamped with no questions asked (DTV workcation)

Warning for those flying out: exit queue is ridiculously long past 2 months, took 1+ hour to get exit stamp, many missed their flights

Before my first DTV flight last year, I was ready to do a quick OnwardTicket booking, but first I wanted to see how it will go, at the end - it's not really neededed, as expected:

Turkish Airlines worker saw the visa and asked for a return flight, I told them that my visa is 5 years multiple entry, they looked at it again, and said 'No need then' :)

Flew in 4-5 times after that, can't remember if some asked again, but there was no any problem.

On arrival Thai immigration didn't ask for return flight, only how long I'm staying, I say a month or two... Seen some reports where they ask for return flight ticket, not sure is it real or not, but I'm ready to book it on the spot if it ever happens.

Yep, but I heard that some of those cannot pay to personal QR codes (like street & market sellers), did you try? (just curios, since I didn't try those)

To me, the biggest benefit is PromptPay QR payment to local vendors, I use it 4-5 times a day at street markets, shops, malls, and online as well (ticketing, delivery, etc...) everyone has QR barcode, it's fast, no need to bother with change, I haven't touched cash for years. Also it's the easiest way to pay rental and water/power (or anything else) to locals with e-bank transfer... But if you don't have (or can't get) the account, it's not a deal breaker, there are other ways, just not sure which ones offer personal QR code payment.

Good for you man... Did you easily activate it? (uploading passport & visa pic?). I couldn't get to activate my TrueMoney on tourist visa at all, I uploaded my passport, Thai Driving licence, all they asked for, then waiting for approval, and nothing... :(

I always write I'm resident of my home (passport) country, even if I didn't live there 20+ years lol, it's more safe since I'm arriving on a Tourist visa, I'm not Thai resident.

Congrats... They didn't ask for rental agreement (or hotel booking) in Thailand?
