Should I declare myself unemployed on the soft power DTV application if my employment will end before moving to Thailand?

I was looking at the soft power DTV application and saw that it is asking for employment details. While I am technically still employed until November, I feel I should say I am unemployed as that is what I'll be once I move to Thailand. Thoughts? My employer wouldn't provide me with a letter saying I'm allowed to work abroad.

Seemed odd to me that they're asking for employment details for the soft power DTV.
