TLDR : Answer Summary
The number of times you can enter Thailand with a 60-day tourist visa is not officially limited, but it greatly depends on immigration officers' discretion. Frequent entries could raise concerns if you spend too long in Thailand within a year. While you can technically make multiple entries, if immigration perceives you are trying to live in Thailand without a proper visa, they can deny entry. Biometric profiling may also impact future entries, so consulting with a proper visa agent is advised.

Do you mean hoping in and out and getting 60 day visa free stamp? The purpose of the stamp is for tourism. So if the immigration profiles your entry and exit and it looks odd, they can deny you entry or pressure you to get a proper visa. You can fly on and out as many times as you like, but if the immigration think you are trying to stay without a proper visa, they can always find any reason to say no. It can be 2 times and it can be many. Please check with a real and proper visa agent.

well, not completely wrong. There is an unofficial "limit" of that number of days, in the way that entering on tourism-purposed visas or alternatives could be more difficult once you get beyond that. But it's not set in stone.

Once it renews each time until immigration doesn't renew it

I don’t know? how strong are your arms?

Do you mean Tourist Visa <- that is a Visa. Or do you mean Visa Exempt, aka a free entry stamp when you enter the country <- THAT IS NO VISA.

Huge difference.

In both cases: there is no official limit.

I think answering to the topicstarter is useless until is clear what is meant. Good question!

If he really has a visa, which I doubt, I guess he would already have known the difference between single entry and multi entry. For tjhe multi entry there is no limit, and the single entry is one time and then you need to apply again.

And the visa exempt works as long as IO believes you are tourist, that can even be zero times if there is suspicion you are no tourist for whatever reason.

you can do "unlimited" visa free entries until you can't do them anymore

If u r from a visa free country u r given 60 days on entry

You will be allowed to enter as many times as immigration allow you to enter. There are no defined rules but for sure you can't live inside Thailand on visa exempt or tourist visa entries

@John *********
Ah but what does it mean to live?

@Raquel **********
it means whatever the immigration officer wants it to mean

No one will be able to fully answer your question becomes its up to them at the immigration they can say NO to you anytime its been known to happen

Depends if your visa is multiple entry or not? There are limits on the number of "Visa Exempt" entries that can be made in a calendar year.
Graham ******
There is no limit on arrivals but what will be a red flag to the Immigration Officer holding your passport is the amount of time you spend in Thailand on tourism entry stamps

@Graham *****
its 180 days right
Graham ******
@Peter *******
Just as there are no numbers on arrivals there is no numerical limit on the maximum number of days you can stay in a calendar year or rolling year. It's entirely at the discretion of the Immigration Officer.

@Peter *******
depends on how much time abroad in between. I know people who withing 8 months entered 4 times visa-exempt then applied for a 60-days tourist visa and were allowed in

@Graham *****
less than 180 days a year or they Not let you in.
