When your 90 days for your initial non-b is nearing expiration I assume you go to your local immigration office to get it extended.

Does immigration office also stamp your passport for the extension?

Hello, I applied for a non b visa which I got and will be over on the 25th December, in the meantime I got my work permit which has a 1 year validity. What is the next step? Should I go to immigration on the 25th December for any procedure or is it done, I can just stay normally? Is there anything else I should do? Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm considering applying for my non b extension under my own work permit myself.

I was given a list of documents by the immigration official.

What are the chances that even after bringing all documents, they will make up an additional requirement not on the list? Has this happened to anyone.

On the flip side, has anyone experienced any flexibility on the documents required.

For my situation, i have everything, except 3 months of VAT. I have registered my VAT and have made 1 filing, But honestly, I don't even need to pay VAT yet as it's a new business and has not crossed the income threshold.

To extend non b visa? How much time in advance can it be done? And how long takes it to be done?

I m out from thailand with rentry permit.

I change my passport in my home country.

Can i enter to thailand to my new passport with my work visa ?

Hope this is allowed. Nonthaburi Immigration. Non-B extension today. Not crazy busy but they ( Immigration Officers ) were looking at paperwork more closely.

Also, something different from last year, I (we, myself and the other teachers at our school) needed to bring our completed tax form. Plus, our school needed to provide a few more papers then was needed last year. Don’t know the specific ones but just a few.

In at around 9am. Finished around 3pm. That included their 1 hour lunch at noon.

As a side note, I hadn’t done a 90 report since the middle of last year. Did it today and got lucky and was only changed 1000 baht. Many thanks was given to the Immigration Officer from myself!

Prior to Covid, bouncing into Laos and back for a refreshed tourist visa was easy and effective.

Is the border open now? Is it possible to enter Laos for a stamp and then reenter Thailand for 30 days?

I have a 1 year lease on an apartment until May. But at my last meeting with immigration, the officer told me I wouldnt be granted another extension of my nonB visa. That was before the program of 60 day extensions was extended fro. Dec. 31, '21 to Jan 25, '22.

Im hoping to appeal to his mercy for another extension due to the extra month added to the program, but Im looking for any contingency that doesnt involve having to do a round trip flight to the USA.

Hi all, just looking for some advice regarding the covid extension for the visas.

I have had to leave the current school I work at in the middle of my contract due to a dispute. As I’m currently on a Non B visa could anybody explain the process of what I have to do now? I’ve looked online and there’s a bit of conflicting information and I also never know what to believe there either haha. I’m in Bangkok too if that helps.
