I need to be out of my rental here in the US by the end of the month and I’m not sure if I will get approved by then. Does anyone know if it is OK to fly to Thailand and arrive on a tourist visa, then exit the country and re-enter to activate my DTV Visa upon reentry? I was able to do this when I traveled to Indonesia with no issues. If its a risk to enter now i will book a flight to Laos or PH. Until i know if i am approved.

If you’re not sure, and just like to hear your own voice, please refrain from making pointless comments about it. (you know who you are) lol.

Yes i know i should have gotten the application submitted sooner. It took longer to complete because of reasons i dont need to explain here.

Hi everyone I’m new to the group . I had two questions . Firstly I’m from USA living in Mexico currently ….how does that work in regards to the location and getting the dtv visa when it says current location proof etc . Also does anyone know if a tummy tuck / liposuction or like a “mommy makeover” of sorts would qualify for the medical option to get the visa . I’m just curious because I see different scenarios here where people are getting denied and I would like some insight . Thank you so much 💙

Hello everyone,

I’m planning to apply for the DTV visa for 6 months (visits and medical treatments) and I have a question about the required documents.

For this type of visa, one of the requirements is:

1. Proof of confirmation to attend the activity or letter of appointment from a hospital/medical center.

Does anyone know if it is sufficient to provide a single appointment, or do I need to include details of multiple visits or a treatment plan (e.g., medical therapy cycles)?

Any advice or experiences with this type of visa would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Good morning ! My post is in french because it is aimed at french speakers. It concerns the obligation to translate documents into english because if it is an obligation, that makes a lot of documents to translate. It is for the "remote workers" DTV. This question is also for all the people in the same case. Thank you for your help.

« Bonjour ! »

Is 3 mths of bank statement necessary? And how close does the statement date need to be before the actual application submission? Thanks. Mick

I'm getting ready to apply for the DTV. Does the five year period begin when the Visa is issued or when you arrive in Thailand? I'm not planning on arriving until Dec next year.

How many time can I cross the border to Thailand on foot to get a visa exemption stamp?

I know it use to being twice per calendar year, and six times with airplane.

But someone told me it's not a limit anymore, someone have experience doing this more than two times per calendar year?

Hi friends, my DTV was approved (Muay Thai) and have a couple questions:

1. What health insurance provider is recommended for DTV holders? Searching around I see AXA or AIA, but would like to hear your thoughts.

2. Are DTV holders able to get a motorbike license in Bangkok? Just something small to get around.

Thank you!
