I am entering Thailand on a 90 day visa visiting family. We have a lease on a condo already for 7 months. When I applied for my visa I used the condo address, do I need to check in at immigration when arriving or is the tm30 by the owner enough?

I would like to get a DTV visa. I have the 500000 baht but it has only been in my bank account for 1 month. Are there any embassies that will allow this?

I just got approved within 48 hours of applying. The whole process took about 20 minutes. Open to questions if you have any.

Hello,

Has anyone found a way to pay their taxes in Thailand when their bank account has been closed due to DTV?

For anyone who responds, there's no need. That's because you come from a country with low tax rates and they don't ask for proof.

I spoke to the tax authorities about it, and even they don't know how to justify bringing money into Thailand without a Thai bank account. I already have my tax ID.

Ideally, I would like to avoid changing my visa.

Just a quick update for data purposes - I haven’t seen many people enter where we entered. My husband and I entered today at Krabi airport - we got our DTVs in April, but just now came. I had all the proof ready to pull up on my phone and even a new bank letter with balance info, but we were both stamped and waved through in as long as it took for them to scan my prints and take a photo. He even pointed to the stamp and said that I could stay until the end of March. I do recommend dressing neatly, which I feel helps in any Thai government interaction. 😊 So stoked!

Hello, I am going to apply this week for workation,

Brazil passport, work from US.

About the company that I work I made a PDF document with only the recommendation letter from them saying they allow me to work remote from thailand with boss eletronic sign from US, document about company registration in US with my boss name, and screenshot company social media.

I dont have any contract but I work for them 3 years already.

Is this enough?

Bangkok Bank just closed my savings account because it is DTV. Tried SCB and Krunsgsti but they both said they do not take DTV as well. Any recommendations? I am currently using TrueMoney to pay bills.

I goofed. I entered Thailand about 92 days ago. I am on a retirement visa and I forgot to do my 90 day check in. I just went down the condo office and they told me they don't do that anymore.

A) How much of a problem is it, that I am a few days late

B) What do I need to bring with me to immigration office. I own the condo, do I bring the house book? deed?

C) Can this be done online? Got links?

PS, I use Pattaya's immigration office.

Just retired with TP Gold visa and now getting all the paperwork sorted out for a long term stay

Got 10 year rental agreement for a house and got issued yellow house book and pink id card at the local city administration (Amphur)

Next step is drivers license, need to take a test and get a medical certificate but think the TP visa plus pink id card and yellow book is ok as documentation basis for application

Just one question if anyone should have same issue, my rental agreement and yellow book does not show same address. Owner of the rental house is not very cooperative so relatives of my late wife (I am now single and intend to stay single) organized it on their blue book. It included interview at the Amphur and some paperwork. I was informed at the city office that the 2 addresses don’t have to match as many Thais are registered one place but have actually moved and live/work in another place

Any comment or advice anyone, I was married for 37 years and the wife took care of everything, now I’m on my own and need all the advice I can get
