Time for another extension of my non-immigrant "O" visa based on a Thai child. I've used the search function to look for changes to the criteria as the authorities are well-known for tweaks that can torpedo a perfectly decent application but it's very confusing.
Is it the case that the 400k now has to be seasoned in a Thai bank account for 90 days/3 months prior to application?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the requirement for having 400K baht seasoned in a Thai bank account for 90 days prior to applying for an extension of their non-immigrant 'O' visa based on having a Thai child. Comments suggest that while some local immigration offices may require funds to be seasoned for shorter periods, official immigration rules do not specify such a requirement for the visa extension in question.

What I did was asked immigration on my 90 day report , just before my visa extension application, are there any changes to the criteria for my visa application from last year answer was no.
There are some offices that require the 400K baht to be seasoned the same as a marriage to a thai extension <- 2 months before you apply for the extension
BUT
There is nothing written into the immigration rules about that raising thai child extension that actually says the funds have to be seasoned, only that they're IN a thai bank account in your name only when you apply for the year extension.
Also no office has 3 month seasoning for ANY extension (except the raising foreign child enrolled in school here and that's for the second yearly extension onward)
