I just realised I've messed up badly in my understanding of multiple entry tourist visa : (

I wanted to stay in Thailand for six months (September 2025-March 2026). My 60 days is up and I can extend for 30 days, but I'm wondering what to do after that. Suggestions, please, for the easiest way to get around this.

Has anyone canceled a DTV then to apply for a business visa with work permit? My Thai friend wants to hire and partner with me for a position and is offering a work permit.

90 Day Report query: seeking clarification on my TM30 form. Is it necessary that the form is dated very recently? I have sought AI clarification but it’s not conclusive. Basically I’m a DTV holder, have left Thailand and been granted my usual further 6 months but need to do another 90 day report, obvs. Tried the online process but it’s not permitted as it’s the first 90 day report since my second or third entry in to Thailand. My landlord gave me the TM30 form but it was dated from 13th November -does anyone know if this will be rejected because it needs to be more recent than that?

TIA

Hey, can I reset my DTV 6 months with a land border run to Laos or something?

I normally fly to Vietnam but wasn’t sure if there was a better way to do it faster

What’s your best recommendation?

This is the best written article I have seen on the new Visa Exempt rules.

The DTV is not effected but some reports of agents/border trying to charge same-day fees to DTV holders.

Do not hold off applying for DTV if currently relying on Visa Exempt and want to change.

Hi guys, Miles here. Can someone please tell me which city is the easiest for foreigners to get the Residence Certificate? I am planning on applying for this certificate as soon as I land in Thailand so definitely trying to avoid that 90-day notification requirement.

Any information is appreciated. Thank you all!.

Hello,

I applied for the DTV under the “soft power” category, and I have an upcoming interview at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Osaka. If anyone has gone through a similar interview, could you share what kind of questions or topics were asked? I would really appreciate any information.

DTV MANILA APPROVAL —

Applied on 9th November for Workcation, Requested documents on 14th November, Approved 17th November.

I was initially quite surprised that they requested more documents as I sent over more than what I thought was required. The initial submission was about 80 pages including bank statements being about half of that. I included message logs from me and my team, business registration documents, messages to and from suppliers, invoices from suppliers, invoices from 3rd party businesses, messages to and from 3rd party businesses, 4 month statements from all accounts (business, personal and savings account), then proof that I was in PH (Airbnb receipt, stamp and flight details)

The additional requested documents included 6 months statements from business and personal - I submitted a years worth.

wanted to see sales dashboards from my business for the year

Wanted to see orders going through and who they were going to

Listings online for my products

And payment confirmations from e-commerce sites to my business bank.

I reckon with the new changes, they are possibly going to tighten down as I thought that I submitted more than enough details business wise but my recommendation is to submit everything you would feel is necessary to prove that your business is legitimate, even going over board.
