Just arrived to Thailand (DMK airport) with DTV visa for first time.

I just give my passport and DTV printout to officer, no question and he just stamped for 180 days.

I was like “Have a good day”, he replied “You too, have a great time in Thailand”.

That’s all.

FYI - I hold Myanmar Passport.

Just I got email from DTV, to cancel my DTV application becausse the passport number should be 0 not O, Do I need to reapply and pay again? or we can recorrect the info?

Since TAX and DTV keep coming up and we keep seeing headlines that thai authorities want to get stricter with enforcing the tax

.....Are there any countries currently which successfully enforce tax on money brought into their country (and how do they do it?)?

....Will the thai tax authorities go straight to Thai banks (if you have one) and request they share information on how much money is being brought in?

....With people without a thai bank it seem almost impossible for them to enforce tax on remittance income

....I'm probably gonna go back to working in thailand because I don't suddenly want to be lumped with a 200,000 k baht tax bill etc...

If you do 1st 90 day report in person, then leave for 6 months and return again, can you do the next online? Or does the process reset?

I have 2 children and I wan to apply for a follower DTV visa for them. Do I need to show 500,000 for each child as well??

Hi all, has a gone got a DTV visa without having a long term rental but a 2/3 months hotel booking confirmation?

In the application procedure seems that hotel accommodation is also accepted.

Hey everyone! I have been in HCMC for about a month working on my DTV. I had all of the qualifications, they asked for more information and I provided those and it took a couple weeks to hear back. I just heard that I was rejected. Does anyone know if there’s an appeal process or have any suggestions? Also, would this affect applying for a student visa as an alternative?

I'm looking to apply for the DTV under the Soft Power Muay Thai route from the London embassy. I have had the 500k in my bank for 5 months now, is it likely that they'll ask for proof of ongoing income? And would it help to provide a sponsorship letter as well as bank statements?

Hello everyone.

I’m preparing to submit my documents at the Ho Chi Minh Embassy for the DTV visa under Workcation and wanted to check something about bank statements.

I have multiple bank accounts:

1. WISE account: where I receive overseas payments for my company invoices

2. Bank 1: where I receive the funds transferred out from WISE

3. Bank 2: where I receive the funds from Bank 1 and accumulate the minimum 500,000+ THB required balance

My question is:

Do I need to submit statements for all three accounts or is it enough to show only the account (Bank 2) that currently holds the required 500,000+ THB?

I don’t want to over-submit and confuse them, but I also don’t want to miss anything important.

For those who have been approved, did you submit all linked accounts or just the one showing the funds?

Appreciate any advice or experiences you can share!

Tomorrow when I get my flight I will be one day overstay will this be a problem for me thanks
