Hello everyone! I hope somebody can help clarify the following, since I've heard different answers to the same question.

While applying (say, in Vietnam), can I return to Thailand and wait here?, or do I need to stay in Vietnam until the Visa is approved?

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, I couldn't find anything when searching for this topic in previous posts.

Many thanks in advance :)

please HELP

currently i am trying to apply for myself and my daughter DTV under my husband approved DTV

the system shows 340$ for each of us which according to my research is not the current amount. chat GPT says it should show me single entry option which im also confused about. do I get only single entry? anyway its asking for $680 total for both of us. I sent an email to the embassy but im not sure of they answer. anyone has any experience with it? do i need to pay this much again for both of us?

thank you

Hi all, I have 2 questions about the additional documents requested by the Fukuoka embassy for DTV today. If anyone knows anything or has experienced the same thing, please let me know.

1. A bank statement showing transactions for the past three months.

Can this be just screenshots of the bank transaction history and a translated version? I submitted a bank statement provided by the bank, but it has no transaction history shown. I already asked my bank to send me the version that shows the transaction history, but it takes 7 days according to the bank.

2. Accommodation booking document

I have a partner there in Thailand so I wrote the name & address of the condo that my partner is renting. So it is not under my name. I am wondering if I should just attach the condo contract and my partner's ID photo while telling that she is my partner etc, or ask the condo owner to put my name in the contract which might take time, or book another hotel or something for a few weeks with a letter saying I changed the accommodation.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I work remotely for an Australian company and I am currently in Australia, on a working holiday visa, looking to apply for the remote worker DTV.

My visa ends soon but I will continue to work remotely. I will have the relevant employment documents and payslips/bank statements etc, but do you think there will be any issues as I am not originally from Australia? I'm not sure whether to apply from here or go elsewhere to apply (maybe Vietnam).

Any advice welcome, Ta.

Renewing a 5 year Non immigrant OX visa

I have a little over a year until this is to be renewed but time flies and I want to plan ahead.

Does the money have to be in a bank account or can it be in a Thai investment account or even in a crypto exchange? Leaving money in a bank account is just non sensical to me as it earns me nothing.

Second part to the question. What is the minimum period and value in baht in an account before renewal

Hey there! I get that this might seem redundant for a lot of specialists. I'm a retired US military vet over 50, pulling in more than 65,000 baht a month from my pensions, plus I've got a financial portfolio that's over 800,000 baht. After checking out some older posts, it looks like I can qualify for a Retirement visa (without the hassle of depositing 800,000 in a Thai bank), and I'm also interested in the DTV Softcore visa since I want to learn Muay Thai.

So, my main question is: what are the pros and cons of each visa option? If I can qualify for both, which one is easier to deal with in the long run?

I heard that with the DTV soft core visa, you have to leave the country every 180 days, but that's not an issue for me. And most of the gyms offer courses 1 year or less of duration, meaning after that course Legally I would of out of status

Hi everyone

my husband got approved under DTV

thank you for this group and all the helpful information 😀

we applied in Hanoi on the 8th 8 AM of october

same day they requested more documents: stamp on the passport for being outside of thailand, for the 500k baht we used his dad as sponsor( since we travel alot and we recently purchased a house in another country we did not have it in our checking accounts for the past 3 months and we decided last minute on staying in thailand. they asked for his dad’s bank statement which we got the stamped 3 months of his balance from the bank). and they requested documents showing the relationship with his dad which we provided birth certificate. the status changed to pending approval on the 9th and we just received the approval.

hello everyone

I have a question: since my husband just got approved under DTV now I need to apply for mine and my 5 year old. I don’t see the option to do both of ours together so does it mean I have to apply separately for me and her? do we still need to be outside of thailand? anyone know how long it will take for ours now to get approved? thank you again.
