. I so far only know about the TM30. Who do I tell about the TM6 little white paper? Is it the same desk as TM30? In the old days with the easier B visas, I used to just exit and re-enter and there was never TM6 reporting.

How much time do I need for a Mae Sai border run?

Aaron ********

As you see, it's not necessary, and you can do the moto taxis for about 40 baht extra ea way (vs songthaew), but I've had time nearly run out when there were long queues of crossers and also when I found shops I enjoyed browsing thru as long as I was there. I don't mind spending the extra hour vs rushing to get back.

How much time do I need for a Mae Sai border run?

That's tight. Usually you get there after 12pm, you're at the border by 1ish. Getting back without eating or bathroom or a nice coffee break is no fun. I always take the 8am up and the 3.30 back. Easiest. Plenty fo time n no rush.

I believe it's a good 3-5 years since I was here on a Monday. Got there at 7am or so, and then, yes, buses full of hotel employees and others showed up. I was in the first 10,staring down the line at a crowd of more than 300 by the time the gate opened. I think crowd avoidance means I'll go early again.
