Good afternoon everyone.

I did a research here on previous posts about the METV, my visa application just got granted and wanted to make sure few things before I fly to Thailand in order to plan my entries well. If I have understood correctly, with the METV:

1) Every time you land in Thailand you are getting STAMPED on your passport (60 days + 30 if you extend at local IO) - I’m asking this because my passport is running out of pages.

2) If arriving a day before the “valid until” date, you are still eligible to be stamped 60 days - I’m asking these to be clear if what mentioned in previous posts is still the general rule.

Thanks again for your kind help, if you don’t wanna post this, I would just appreciate your kind advice, as you all have been very helpful throughout these years. ขอบคุณมากครับ

Hi, I have a multiple entry tourist visa, do I need to present form tm30 to extend for 30 days my 60 day stamp? I intend to extend it in Bangkok? Are there any places where this form is not required? Thank you

Sorry if it’s been asked but can’t find the answer. I’ve applied for the 6 month multi entry visa. I understand I need to leave every 60 days, that’s not a problem. What I want to know is when I enter on my last stay, will it only be valid to the end of the original visa stamp or is it 60 days from re-entry?

Hi, I was at Chaeng Wattana today and got an under consideration stamp until the 30th of November and was advised to come back the 30th of Nov for the final 60 day stamp. No embassy letter was required.

Hello Group:

2 Part Question

I'm using an METV (my first issued) with an exp. Nov 24th, 2019.

So realistically if exiting TH on Nov. 20th and returning on the 23rd of Nov. - I will be stamped in for another 60 day period correct? (thus the visa is expired)

Also with that 60 day stamp taking me to about Jan 23rd of 2020 - will immigration approve a 30 day extension at that point? (have never used an extension as of yet).

I hold an Australian passport and have a 6 month METV issued in late March and with a last entry date of late September. I have travelled to Thailand twice on this visa (without needing any extensions) and plan to return again before the last entry date which would allow me to stay until late November.

Can I obtain a 30 day extension to the November date and if so do I need to travel out of Thailand (which I currently have to do within the 60 day period) before late December? Also can I get the extension, say in early November, and still leave Thailand and return using the visa extension or is it once I leave Thailand I would need to return on a 30 day visa exemption/visa waiver?

Thanks for any advice.
