Absolutely use a visa agent. Got it all done in under a day and didn't have to deal with trying to interpret forms or legal explanations. I put a high value on my time and this was well worth it.
Exactly right. You can easily observe on the streets or in shopping areas where a Thai person will be in front of a shop with a menu, or sale banner, or whatever, and will speak to everyone, but be silent when Indians or black people walk by.
I'm using POSTSCANMAIL for receiving all my postal mail...magazines, newsletters, correspondence, bills, etc. Working quite well. I wouldn't change my state of residence since I don't know how to move my home and rental properties to another state!
I hear you... but here's the thing: taxes on what? I don't generate one single baht of income in Thailand. But I certainly spend money here. Would like to learn more on this topic.
