a quick google search showed this: If you submit a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) but choose not to travel to Thailand, there are no consequences. The TDAC is a mandatory online registration for foreign travelers entering Thailand, and it does not replace a visa or other permits. You can submit the TDAC at any time before your intended arrival date, and it is not linked to your departure plans. If you submit the TDAC but don't travel, it's simply a record that you intended to enter Thailand, but you didn't, and there are no penalties or consequences for this.
Just made a test, entered an imagined flight dated 24 April. Got the e-mail with QR code almost immediately after pressing enter. Just wondering if this application will give a 'no-show' warning when trying to enter next real trip by the end of May
Wonder if we also have to continue with the old T8 form and upload yellow fever cert on Thaihealthpass web site when new included in the new TDAC form?
Had a friend who many years ago was deported and blacklisted. He changed his name and arrived under new id. With biometrics now in use, not sure this will work today
Think right now the exchange rate is not very good, now may not be best time to transfer. My bank , Kbank, also charges withholding tax on the interest
If you arrive from a country where Yellow Fever vacc is required, mostly Africa and South America, you will need to register on thaihealthpass and obtain a QR code
