Will the Thai e-visa system accept UK bank statements showing the £ equivalent for proof of finances for a tourist visa?

I will be applying for my next visit for a tourist visa via the e-visa system, via the UK embassy.

Probably a simple answer, but it asks for proof of finances of no less than 20,000 baht. Will they accept the £ equivalent as shown on uk bank statements?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question is about applying for a Thai tourist visa via the e-visa system, specifically regarding the proof of finances requirement of 20,000 baht. The user inquires whether the UK bank statements showing the equivalent amount in pounds will be accepted for this requirement.

Remember you get 60 days exempt stamp anyway so as it stands a tourist visa isn’t really of any benefit. Only if they reduce the visa exempt from 60 days to 30 would it become beneficial again

Hi Yes thanks for responding. I was aware of that. i was also, for future reference, looking at the family visa over 60 days as will be getting married, and the Finances are different but would also look at the amount in sterling.... but that is down the line i think.

but once again, thank you for taking the time to respond.

But why do you want a tourist visa? UK is eligible for the 60 day visa exempt entry...
