nor do I find it a big drain on battery life, still only charge on 3rd day. Tourist maybe as taking pictures and googling more etc

That's interesting Tony, what if they don't have a Sim socket ? My understanding is they can have upto 6 esim but only 2 work at a time.

Be interesting to hear from someone with a phone that has no Sim socket and find out.

I had OA went to OX. Was 300aud for OA 1 year+ 1 and 600aud for 5 + 5 made more sense

20,000baht not even 1000aud it's not a lot to carry when you travel. Cash saves you being slugged ATM fees

yep and most just read the travel warnings it is the main thing that pops up, they don't scroll pages to find visa info

Agree but also who would think to google smart traveller. Should be a simple search via a menu on govt website for a link.

yeh not many bother with that site as it mostly post travel warnings. Not many go scrolling through to find the requirements. I personally ignore it and don't know many that use it.
