If I remember correctly the 7 days to leave isn’t automatic. You have to submit a request for extension form which will be rejected and you get 7 days to leave otherwise you will have to leave the same day that you cancel the work extension.
I did my marriage extension in July at CW and submitted a TM30 without a check out date entered and it wasn’t questioned. If your last TM30 shows a check out date which has passed you could always submit a new TM30 notification online to cover all possibilities.
I would suggest that you don’t lose anything by submitting online but be prepared to do it in person if unsuccessful. It doesn’t matter what anyone’s opinion is as the decision is made by the IO.
If by PR you mean Permanent Residency that is a whole different ballgame and is subject to many additional requirements such as language skills and quotas. There is no automatic pathway to permanent residency from a marriage extension as far as I know.
The 400k needs to be in a bank account in your name only for a period of 2 months prior to applying for the extension NOT 2 years as you mentioned and you can withdraw the funds as soon as the 1 year extension has been stamped in your passport if you want to. You actually may be able to withdraw the funds after applying for the extension because when I went through this process there was no requirement to show proof of funds when I went to have the extension inked in my passport. Then for the next extension the 400k needs to be in your account 2 months prior to application.
That’s fair enough I would be okay with that especially if you are just doing in country renewals. If they want you to get the initial non B overseas it starts to get expensive.
Sorry. What I should have said is something like although not a legal requirement your employer may be contractually obligated to pay the expenses associated with obtaining a visa and work permit. This has been my experience in the past and it’s worth checking your employment contract for such a provision. Personally I would be very wary of signing a contract with an employer that doesn’t agree to cover such costs.
I know that TM30 is required but I am not sure if you have to submit a copy of it when doing a 90 day report. Having a copy with you would be the way to go.
Also copy of entry stamp if not shown on the copy of the visa stamp. Front page of passport actually means data/ photo page which isn’t the front page on some passports ( eg UK). I don’t know if a copy of TM30 is required but you need to make sure that it has been submitted.
