A question on applying for extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai. What proof of accommodation is accepted? We live in a condo in Bangkok that is owned by me and registered in my name. There is no house book.Will providing copies of the Chanote ( deeds) be sufficient along with showing them the original? I have also got the TM30 notification. I could also show utility bills and/ or credit card statements. TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for an extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai in Bangkok, providing copies of the Chanote (deed) where your name is registered is sufficient proof of accommodation, along with presenting the original Chanote. The TM30 notification is also acceptable. Utility bills and credit card statements are generally not necessary, as the authorities primarily require the Chanote with your name.

The Chanote & the TM30 will be fine. Your name is on the back of the title deed (chanote). They won't care about utility bills or c/c statements. The chanote with your name in it is all they're after

As an aside;

There certainly should be a house book. You'd get one when you bought the condo along with the chanote). It'd be a blue one but be blank as you're a foreigner and couldn't get listed in it.

They never gave me the house book when I moved in but I will go with the Chanote and TM30 thanks. Question answered. Yes my name is on the back of the Chanote

Then that chanote is all you need (y) You might want to have your thai wife get ahold of the Amphur and see where your blue house book is. You definitely get one

We moved in in 2007 and have never had a need for the blue housebook so have never pursued it. My wife owns a house in Phitsanulok and is on the house book there so we have used that to get married and aquire the non O. Note that the condo was 10 years old when I purchased it and I have the previous owners name and address but I doubt that I will be able to find them now.
