ORIGINAL POSTER
Went to CW today for stamping of Stay Extension ( marriage) after U/C period. Arrived 10am. Got SE stamped at L2 after taking queue number and a short wait. IO at L2 kindly made the necessary copies of passport for me because I told her that I was going to apply for a Reentry Permit and had the form and photo already. Got new queue number for reentry permit and everything complete and in the taxi home by 11am. Very efficient especially as I didn’t have an appointment for the reentry permit. ( I tried to make an appointment for reentry permit 3 weeks ago but none available)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author shares a positive experience at the Chaeng Wattana immigration office in Thailand, where they successfully extended their stay based on marriage and applied for a reentry permit without an appointment. The process took just one hour, highlighting the efficiency of the service despite the author's initial trouble securing an appointment for the reentry permit.
