What's even more infuriating is that if you were not British but held a EU passport since you met her before Brexit the British would not have any say about it..

I am French , got married in Thailand 12 years ago and it was at the time a very simple and free process for me to bring her to UK under EU settlement rules

My British mate had to jump through hoops and over over 1k to do the same.

So messed up .

I hope you can get it sorted,

you can rent your condo as a foreigner. Technically you need a Thai person to handle visits and paperwork as this is considered work.

Please note that you won't be able to rent your condo legally for period shorter than 1month ( but you will of course find a lot of condos to rent on a daily basis on air bnb...)

Get a 30 days extension. Call Turkish to move your return date by 29 days. Stay another month .

Shall you ever consider buying a condominium in your name all funds will need to have been for " Property purchase "

I always input that reason just in case.

But I am not sure if when purchasing a condo they need to see a 1 time transfer or if multiple transfer over a few years are acceptable

Call your landlord.

Tell him / her you d like to move out due to the illegal short stay renters next door..

If he / she is higher up than the neighbor things will get sorted out quickly.

If next door landlord is a retired police officer who is having " Relatives over the weekend " Best to move out

If you are doing anything illegal / frowned upon such as being here on a student visa or back to back tourist, working online and so on best not to ruffle any feather and move out

Bit late to get a tourist visa.

Buy a single air ticket to Kuala Lumpur on air Asia to give you a departure date of Thailand within 30 days of arrival. That will clear any potential issues boarding you UK / Thailand flight.

About a week before your 30 days stamp expire go to immigration to get a 30 days extension .

At the end of your 60 days in Thailand go to cambodia for a few days to see the temple and get stamped in again for 30 days coming to Thailand ( same applies, you ll might he asked for a return ticket with a date within 30 days of coming back to Thailand.

You can extend again by another 30 days.

If you don't have a passport showing loads of back and forth to Thailand you ll be fine .

Don't take the habit to do this or one day you ll he refused entry into Thailand
