TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their negative experience with Bamboo Airways, detailing multiple schedule changes and a flight cancellation just weeks before departure, leading to warnings against the airline. The community discusses their own experiences, some of which contrast sharply, highlighting reliability issues, especially in relation to budget airlines. The conversation touches on customer service, flight reliability, and general advice for expats considering airline options in Southeast Asia.
Bamboo airways is not an airline. It's just a bank account where you can deposit money, and receive no goods or services. Similar to Air asia during the pandemic, their website was still up and it appeared like a real business but it's just a sham. No staff, just an account to deposit and loose your money.
