Why is Bamboo Airways facing issues and should expats avoid it?
Not directly visa related but may be useful. Avoid Bamboo airways ! I booked 5 months ago. They changed the schedule 4 times and have now cancelled my flight with 2 weeks to go. Not the best

Bamboo airways is not an airline. It's just a bank account where you can deposit money, and receive no goods or services. Similar to Air asia during the pandemic, their website was still up and it appeared like a real business but it's just a sham. No staff, just an account to deposit and loose your money.

With a weird name like Bamboo Airways (Bam Boob?) Airways I don,t want to be a castaway lost in a jungle. Thanks for the warning!

Nok air are ok. Ome of the few who transport your pets so quite good. Not a money thing, more a service thing

Lufthansa did exactly this to me for a ticket that cost 47,000. It's not really about the airline, but the available airport slots and ticket sales.

long haul, london to bangkok. They were a good price but within a week of booking in April the schedule had changed then 3 more times after. Finally cancelled yesterday with no offer of a flight change. I checked on their website and there are no otherflights anywhere near the date i was flying and to be honest, after this i wouldnt trust the alternative flight either. Cost a lot of money as ive already booked connecting flights and buses etc. Lesson learnt. Ive found plenty of others who have had similarJeffrey *********

no worries. Its worked out as ive booked a better timed flight at a similar cost just annoyed as i wish id done that in April !Activity
