TLDR : Answer Summary
In recent years, Thailand has seen a variety of trendy fads and cultural shifts, particularly in food and lifestyle. Popular food trends include Korean chicken wings, salmon in various forms, and the rise of Hatyai-style fried chicken, now common across the country. Additionally, there is a significant influence from Korean pop culture, especially evident in the proliferation of K-pop fandoms and their associated merchandise. Vaping has emerged as a notable trend, despite concerns over safety and legality, while casual fashion trends such as pajamas worn daily and the popularity of Crocs reflect changing styles. The coffee shop scene has expanded along with the Japanese cultural influence through food and lifestyle offerings. Lastly, social behaviors such as selfie-taking have become commonplace, alongside burgeoning markets for various products ranging from beauty enhancements to the latest tech gadgets.

Hatyai style fried chicken. Once only available in southern Thailand but now available all over Thailand
or anywhere else in the world. I find it funny/confusing that such a culture, based on achieving enlightenment through introspection and self discipline is easily corrupted by the pursuit of material gain and external recognition.
yup, I say the exact same thing all the time. I have to think a lot of it is not really something that is taken seriously, it's just going through the motions and song and dance. Kind of like Christians that go to church on Sunday and don't act christian the rest of the week. Because honestly, I don't often see a lot of introspection and self discipline....

I love Budweiser.
I drank a lot of it when I worked in Slovakia.
During Covid I had to fly with Qatar.
There was just one bar open in Doha airport.
They had only Budweiser.
I was happy that they had one of the best beers in the world.
Not quite, I've seen quite a few girls taking photos of themselves, especially their bottom 🤔 well, I guess it's something they can't see usually . I'll have to remember that one, only... I know I'll forget 🤣😂😅
Christopher Ian Morgan. I have to comment and say I like that one 👍

Cell phone holders on motorbike handlebars, with little umbrellas on them. Didn't really see many cell phone holders on motorbikes until after covid when e-commerce delivery became huge. Now different brands have different attachments to block the rain, and mostly the sun instead of the umbrellas on them. You mention Korean chicken wings, but that is just a speck in the sand compared to everything related to K-pop trending here now.
I feel like you could definitely get it, but now at like local night markets, I see it all the time, I also have seen a few markets where they are selling whole salmon. Now, I live in the sticks, so maybe the trend was slow to start here, but until recently, the only time id encounter salmon was in Makro...
