Nongnuch Kamdee I don’t see any value in arguing about this. I have my experiences and you may have different experiences.

That is not true for other visas. I have had any number of Non-O visas and others that operate as I described.

Nongnuch Kamdee no need to be rude. Read the words and you will see the author did not mention METV nor did I.

Nongnuch Kamdee thank you. I wrote a general explanation of the dozen or so visas I have had. Although I said “typically” I should have added that I am unaware of a 6-month visa as it is not of a type I would ever use. Sorry if I confused anyone.

Typically visas have three dates that are important. The first date is the approval date. That is the date the visa is approved and you are notified. The second date is the must use by date. The visas that I have received from Thailand have had a 90-day period from the issue date that you must make your entry into Thailand. The final date is the expiration date. In the instance you describe your Visa will be good for 6-months after your first arrival in Thailand. Hope this helps.

Ralph Tyson I applied for and received a 90 day marriage e-visa from the LA Consulate. While on that trip to Thailand I opened a bank account. I had an emergency that took me back to the US for 5-months. I applied for another 90-day e-Visa for marriage. After arrival in Thailand I ultimately applied for a Retirement visa because it better suited my needs. Because everything was in order my retirement visa was issued in 2-days. Hope this helps.

What you are suggesting is exactly my situation and I had no problems.

Without knowing the specifics of your problem it sounds like you need documents from Poland to go through Apostle process. Also known as legalization. It involves several steps both in your home country and Thailand. There are firms that can handle the details for you. Search on line for Poland firms as a start.

Good luck. You can message me if you want more information.

Try Siam Legal services in Bangkok. Nice people with reliable services in my opinion.
