Malaysia is so much better

But it's not a place for dr$gs or s3x, so... Maybe it suits you, maybe it doesn't

if I can ask, how have you been living 2 years on a non-o visa if you find 20k exoensive, but 400k deposit it's considered OK?

Or are you doing border bounces every 90 days with the single entry non-o?

I have friends living in Vietnam on tourists visas, doing visa runs every 30 or 90 days since 2022

How long the immigration will put up with it nobody knows, but it's possible

there's no way Hanoi is any better than any village in the middle of nowhere. Thailand is much better than Vietnam, even though I like it there. In Thailand the variety of products, attitude of people, and things to do are greater

And honestly Hanoi is just boring, full of rude people, and dirty. IMO only Da Nang, Sapa, Hoi An, Hue are worth visiting. More corruption there as well and although the Vietnamese are really friendly, many A-holes too, always trying to get the upper hand on you and they don't know personal space and manners

Brazilians don't need visa to Schengen countries up to 90 days but your point is valid, since she's a Italian citizen it's best to check-in with her Italian passport. Also, as you said the data on the immigration database will the the one corresponding to the Brazilian passport

As long as you don't give the idea that you're working/living illegally here (doing a lot of border bounced in a row for example), all is fine

Passport and looks matter too, the meme posted by the guy of how likely you will be asked an award ticket is real

unless you can find an agent that simply issues the visa. Met many foreigners under "Ed visas" here that never stepped into a classroom
