oh look they just announced being able to extend up til the end of November so you can stay until the end of January.

they haven’t said anything about this one way or another, and either this or something similar will probably stay in effect until the country is back to at least almost normal measures

I spend 4 months and coming back in 2, had the best trip I’ve had yet even considering the lockdown. If you’re only there to bar and party it might suck but any halfway decent trip around and you couldn’t time it better.

this is one of the best times to travel to Thailand, almost no tourists and no Chinese. The quarantine should just be permanent.

us bringing covid to thailand is bringing sand to the beach, especially if we’re vaccinated. Really hoping there’s enough economic pressure to make some changes in the next couple months for entry and quarantine requirements, but it’s thailand so god only knows.

Phuket and samui are islands....so sand boxing them is a pretty easy concept

How the hell are they gonna sandbox bkk? There whole stance made a lot more sense before they lost control 5 months ago.

Why was I charged 3,000 baht for my first COVID visa extension in Thailand instead of the 1,900 baht fee?

I went for my 30 day extension on my TR in Surat Thani and was offered 60 day covid for 3000 baht, I got an extra month I wasn’t counting on but that’s pretty funny

they will probably keep it in effect or something similar as long as border runs are off the table because of quarantine regulations, but then again it’s thailand so any guess is fair game
